Samba TB+ Awareness Campaign
The Samba TB+ Campaign is a dynamic health education initiative that uses the power of sports—especially football—to raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB), HIV/AIDS, malaria, mental health, teenage pregnancy, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). The campaign blends community mobilization, participatory learning, and accessible health services into one impactful program.

Why Samba TB+ Matters
- Makes health education more engaging through community sports.
- Encourages youth participation and peer-to-peer education.
- Improves public knowledge of TB prevention, symptoms, and treatment.
- Integrates messages on other major health challenges like HIV, malaria, mental health, and SGBV.
- Strengthens community trust and collaboration with local health workers.

Partners & Support
This innovative program is supported by the Uganda Development and Health Associates (UDHA) through the TASO/Global Fund GC7. The partnership empowers Girly Network to blend sports and health in a fun, inclusive, and highly impactful model for youth and families.
