Our Story
Girly Network was founded in 2018 by female survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in Uganda. What started as a support initiative has grown into a holistic community-based organization tackling public health challenges and advancing social justice.
We address gender-based violence, reproductive and mental health, economic empowerment, and youth inclusion. Our work spans across Iganga District — including Northern Division, Bulamagi, Nakigo, Nabitende, Nawandala, Kidaago, Nakalama, and Namungalwe.
